ABOUT

IMG_2973.jpeg

Complex, high-end projects have been the cornerstone of my ability to examine extensive specification packages and in-depth plans with architects, interior designers, builders, and homeowners to ensure code compliance that meets the timeline of schedules with design objectives. Concrete is the highest percentage of materials used in building most Florida residential and commercial projects. My 30+ years of experience as a Mason Contractor has given me the experience and knowledge needed to be well-versed in the International Residential Code (IRC) book with all things concrete, stone, block, tile, stucco and brick.

I obtained certification as a Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) Chimney Inspector and performed detailed inspections, prepared inspection reports, and wrote recommendations to bring chimneys back to current safety code and functionality.

I gained the respect of my peers through accountability, accuracy, quality of projects, and ability to provide confident decisions that are based on the drawings being done correctly, in compliance with code, and with coordinating each trade’s ability to come together to build the project.

We live in Vero Beach and have a vested interest in the community and the upcoming new developments along Indian River and in the downtown historic district. My wife is involved in historic preservation foundations throughout the state of Florida and we both share an appreciation for historic architecture in addition to our backgrounds in new construction. In our spare time we enjoy hiking trails along the Treasure Coast, kayaking, attending Calvary Church and spending time with family and friends. Our two grown kids, both recently married, live in Jensen Beach and in Texas.
